Venezuelans consider President Chavez's development as good

Caracas, Nov 23 ABN.- According to the information issued by the last poll carried out between Oct. 25 up to Nov 04 2009 by the Venezuelan Institute of Data Analysis IVAD, headed by Felix Seijas, 71.6% of the polled Venezuelans consider that the development of Hugo Chavez Frias as president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has been good.

The above information was issued by the Venezuelan journalist Jose Vicente Rangel at his Sunday television program.

Moreover, he highlighted the citizens' appraisal with regards to the economic measures that the Government is considering to implement, where 49% of them expressed the current situation is to improve, while 36.6% think it is to get worse. Those who think that the situation is to remain the same represent a 8.9%, and those who do not know or did not answer represent 5.5%.

About the question about who is going to obtain the higher number of deputies to the Venezuelan Parliament on the coming elections, 53.8% of the polled answered that the governing party is to obtain more seats than the opposition.

Concerning the social-economic environment, the poll resulted in that the three main problems that the country faces is insecurity, 80.2%; unemployment, 37.1%; and electricity service, 29.4%; 1.8% does not know or did not answer.
