Venezuela deports to the United States a Colombian citizen accused for drug trafficking

Maiquetia, Oct 22. ABN.- The Colombian citizen Luis Fernando Cediel Rozo was deported this Thursday to the United States from Venezuela due to his alleged relation with crimes related to drug trafficking and money laundering.

Rozo was captured past October 14 in the municipality of Puerto Escondido, State of Falcon (Northern Venezuela), by officers of the Bolivarian National Guard.

With the capture of Luis Fernando Rozo, a total of eleven drug dealers from international drug trafficking organizations have been captured this year in Venezuela.

According to records from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the District Court of New York considers Cediel Rozo is the “key person” in the DMG group, a company devoted to launder money from Mexican drug cartels.
